Audrey E. Lott, 110, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday evening, October 31, 2013 at St. Frances Home.
She was born on October 18, 1903 in Washington, D.C., to Louis and Estelle (Burwell) Brown. She married Clentis Lott in 1947, he precedes her in death.
Survivors include 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several great-great and great-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Grant Taylor; brother, Louis; and 3 sisters, Anna, Edna, and Abby.
Audrey was a member of Hopewell Church of God, graduated from Dunbar High School, Washington D.C. and then attended a year of Pharmaceutical College before dropping out to take care of her family. She was housekeeper for area families and appreciated the simple things in life. Audrey enjoyed being outside, laughter and joy, reading, “westerns”, crocheting, crossword puzzles, cooking, and most of all children and family.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 South Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
