Albert N. Sauber, 89, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born on December 7, 1927, in Tiffin, Ohio to Albert and Marguerite (Kirchner) Sauber.  On October 15, 1949, he married Roma L. Reinhard and she preceded him in death on July 3, 2013. 

Survivors include two sons, Steven Sauber of Tiffin and Jim (Karen) Sauber of Ashland; daughter, Jane Bennett of Tiffin; brothers, Joe Sauber and Henry Sauber; sisters, Pat Winkler and Marylin Heiser; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael Sauber and Richard Sauber; sisters, Barb Drown; and great-grandchild, Natalie Plank.

Albert served in the United States Navy from June 21, 1945 to July 28, 1946 and retired from Whirlpool in Clyde.

There will be a graveside service at a later date at Seneca Memory Gardens.
