Casey Lynn Lucille Opp, 37, of Fostoria and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday evening, August 3, 2017 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital after a brief illness.

On June 28, 1980 in Tiffin, she was born to Thomas and Sandra (Stalsworth) Opp.

Survivors include her parents, Sandra (Pat) Fitschen and Thomas (Sherry Mitchem) Opp both of Tiffin; her fiancé, Michael Tucker, Jr. of Fostoria; grandmother, Nina Stalsworth of Tiffin; brothers, Brad (Dana) Opp and Hunter Fitschen both of Tiffin; sisters, Amber Terry of New Riegel; Chelsea Fitschen of Tiffin; step son, Tayshaun Tucker of Bloomdale; nieces, Hailee and Kylin, nephew, Kyson, half brothers, Tommy Opp, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; Jaysonn Opp of Tiffin; half sisters, Heather Whitacker of Tiffin; Beth Deflet of Toledo; her dogs, Diamond, Diva, and Dre.

Her grandparents, Fred Stalsworth, Dorothy Pryor, Vernon Opp, nephew, Konnor Opp, and her dog Diesel preceded her in death.

Casey graduated from Tiffin Columbian in 1998 and from Brown Mackie College in Findlay with a Medical Assistant Degree.  She worked at Tiffin Developmental Center and most recently at Rescare in Fostoria. She was a very loving and caring person who helped anyone in need.  Over the years, she provided health care to many, including her own family.  She enjoyed vacationing in Florida, especially Treasure Island, Las Vegas and casino trips to Detroit.

There will be a graveside service at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Fairmont Cemetery with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
