To David's loving family, I had the pleasure of working with David at POET. I got to know David pretty well he was a very hard-working dedicated great fun person to work with I have many fond memories of the years that we work together the last time I saw David was about 2 months ago we were in Kroger I was with my five-year-old daughter and David open up a box of popsicles and gave her one and I think he ate one in there too and we had a real nice chat then I cannot believe that he is gone I just found out I wish I knew sooner I would have went to the service I know you are all proud of David and I'm glad that I have the privilege and honor to know him

To the entire Scholl family. I am so deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. I have very few childhood memories that do not include him, from the countless overnights at each other's houses, the meals at each other's family tables, waiting outside of St. Mary's on Sunday mornings to sell the last of the Toledo Blades (of course grabbing a bulletin to prove to Dorothy that we had been there), and those cold nights upstairs at the old house on 101 when Red wouldn't turn on the heater. Great, great memories indeed. I will miss my friend very much.

David was my supervisor at Seneca Medical and became a good friend. He was a very organized person, very kind and caring, loved his dog Bear, and most of all very dedicated to his daughter Ali whom he loved with all his heart. I recall how proud he was when she was preparing to get married, a very proud poppa!!
The day of Dave's death I got word that I was to start working at Poet and I was preparing to call him to let him know and to chat. Sadly that conversation did not happen. I will be unable to attend Dave's service due to it being my first week at my new job.
I would like to express my sincerest sympathies to the family, especially to Ali. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God speed my friend Dave, I will miss you!
