Dorsey C. Ranker, 67, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, November 3, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

On October 3, 1950 in Tiffin, he was born to Richard M. and Florence M. (Curry) Ranker.  He married Sharon R. Kipfer on March 5, 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Tiffin; Son, Justin (Becca) Ranker of Hilliard; Daughter, Stacey (Mark) Kalmbacher of Toledo; Two Grandchildren, Emily and Sean Kalmbacher; two brothers, Charles Ranker of Nobleville, IN, and Greg (Debbie) Ranker of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-In-law, Laurel Ranker.          

Dorsey was a Life Member of Tiffin Eagles Aerie #402, where he was active and held many offices including past president and trustee.  He was a member of the Tiffin Elks, Sons of AmVets, New Baltimore Sportsman Club in PA,  and volunteered with Tiffin Columbian Athletic Booster and Feeding the Team.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors in Pennsylvania, boating, fishing, and vacationing with his family at Lake Erie.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with a Reception to follow at the Tiffin Eagles at 6:30 PM.  There will be no service.

Burial will be private at Fairmont Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care or Tiffin Columbian Athletic Boosters.
