Jeanne M. Kieffer, 88, of Tiffin, passed away at her home Monday morning, January 8, 2018.

She was born on January 11, 1929, in Tiffin, Ohio to Raymond and Blondina (Rappelt) Bour.  On July 11, 1952, she married Richard A. Kieffer.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Tiffin; son, Michael Kieffer of Tiffin; daughter, Julie (Larry) Haferd of Frenchtown; sister, Rose Ann Carter of Tiffin; five grandchildren, Clint (Nathalia) Kieffer, Michelle (Jason) Kieffer-Brandt, Jason Haferd, Nathan (Haley) Haferd, and Joshua Haferd; and two great-grandchildren, Jayda Brandt and Maddox Brandt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Don Bour; and two sisters, Mary James and Betty Bender.

Jeanne graduated in 1947 from Tiffin Calvert High School and retired in 1986 as a foreman, after 35 years from General Electric.  She also worked and volunteered at Tiffin-Seneca Public Library and volunteered her time at the Ritz Theatre and Mercy Hospital.  Jeanne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a devout catholic, attended and led adoration and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.  She was a member of GEWOTS and enjoyed playing cards, card clubs, trips to the casino, traveling, wintering in Cape Coral, Florida for fifteen years, boating, going to Lake Erie, family reunions and holidays with her family.

There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
