John B. Kopp, 58, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 14, 2017 at his home.

He was born on May 25, 1958, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Raymond E., Sr. and Dorothy L. (Tiell) Kopp. 

Survivors include his three sons, Joseph B. (Krisy) Kopp of Pineview, North Carolina, Henry J. (Tamara) Kopp of Sharon, North Carolina and Michael W. Kopp of Chester, North Carolina; his girlfriend of over 20 years, Anita Bryant of Tiffin; stepson, Travis (Rebecca) Bryant of Tiffin; seven brothers, Raymond E. (Carol) Kopp, Jr. of Tiffin, James A. Kopp of Marblehead, Steven R. Kopp of Tiffin, Mark A. Kopp of Republic, Timothy P. Kopp of Tiffin, Thomas W. (Becky) Kopp of Marrero, Louisiana and Richard D. (Amy) Kopp of Tiffin; three sisters, Kathleen A. (Ray) Runion of Bloomville, Peg E. (Stephen) Sheridan and Laura A. (Gary) Chapman, both of Tiffin; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John worked at Tiffin Foundry, Webster Industries and Universal Building Restoration; working on St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Cathedral in Toledo.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved his dog, Freddie.

His funeral service will be at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Jim “Freebird” Copus officiating.  There will be no burial at this time.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the Service at the funeral home.
