Margo Rumschlag, 79, of New Riegel, passed away on Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born on April 7, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Denzil “Barney” and Delores (Distel) Karcher.   On June 6, 1959, she married Ronald Rumschlag.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; sons, William “Will” (Mindy Smith) Rumschlag of Tiffin, Michael “Moe” Rumschlag of Fostoria and Gregory (Tammy) Rumschlag of Tiffin; daughters, Marcia (Randy) Hall of Dayton and Lisa (Benji) Herrera of Jenera; brother, Kenneth (Barb) Karcher of Florida; sister, Cheri (Ron) England of Berwick; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Margo graduated in 1957 from Hopewell Loudon High School and worked at several jobs including food service at New Riegel Schools, Boes New Riegel Ribs, Murphy’s Dime Store and Margene Ice Cream Stand.  She was an active member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, member of the V.F.W. and volunteered at the Fremont Moose Lodge.  Margo and her husband, Ron, enjoyed camping all over Ohio.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Thursday at Church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Parish, SCAT or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
