Mary Catherine Dosh, 91, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on April 29, 1926, in Tiffin, Ohio to Charles and Catherine (Schleter) Werling.  On January 2, 1946, she married the love of her life, George H. Dosh, Sr. and he preceded her in death on September 19, 1978.

Survivors include her seven children, George H. Dosh, Jr., Deborah McDonald, Diane (James) Clark, Linda (Jeffrey) Potteiger, Tammy (Chad) Huss, all of Tiffin, John (Scarlet) Dosh of Findlay and Kim (Thomas) Bowman of Mount Blanchard; 15 grandchildren, Nicole (Ray) Caraway, Dennis (Beth) McDonald, Kara (Jason) Windsor, Erin (Dave) Clark, Danielle Dosh, Kendra (James) Berlin, Erik (Anne) Potteiger, John (Lisa) Dosh, George (Jenny) Dosh, Tommy Bowman, Brandon Bowman, Amber (Jeremy) Weininger and Stephanie Smith; step-grandchildren, Thomas Gibson and Jennifer (Adam) Bates; and 16 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Gary Dosh; sons, Dennis Dosh, Charles N. Dosh; and daughter, Cheryl A. Dosh.

Mary graduated in 1944 from Tiffin Calvert High School, she was an accomplished pianist, and was also known for her great artistic talent.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and retired from the Tiffin Developmental Center.  She loved her animals, Bill the cat and her Macaw Parrot, Red.  Mary loved spending time with her family, playing cards, going to the cottage and talking on the phone with family and friends.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Home Chiara Unit or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
