Mary Ann Remsberg, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, September 16, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

She was born on June 2, 1945, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Paul James and Dorothy Louise (Turner) Hoerig.  On October 20, 1995, she married Michael Remsberg.

Survivors include her husband, Michael of Tiffin; sons, Gary Wise of Green Springs and Fred (Dee) Williams, Jr. of Toledo; daughter, Paula (Kevin) Young of Fremont; stepchildren, Michael, Daniel, Lorrie, Theresa, Sharon, Nancy, Brenda and Jake; brother, Bob (Carol) Hoerig of Green Springs; sisters, Linda (Kevin) Crum of Republic and Cindy (Rick) Siferd of Fostoria; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mike Hoerig; and granddaughter, Jeannie Merritt.

Mary Ann was a bookkeeper for twelve years at ECI, was a caregiver and worked at Bookmyer Printing.  She was a creative designer and decorator and started her own on-line sites, Graphics –N- Bits and Brannie’s Country Design.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, life member of the DAV Auxiliary and a 30-year AA member, visiting Akron, OH often and attending AA conventions around the Country.  Mary Ann taught herself sign language, how to play the guitar and keyboard, was a loyal member of Pat Catan’s and enjoyed trips , especially to Pigeon Forge.

Her Memorial Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the AmVets Shelter, 1909 S. SR 100, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, with a luncheon to follow.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service at the AmVets Shelter.  Please dress casual.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
