Patricia A. Winkler, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, December 1, 2017 at her home.

She was born on March 14, 1930 in Tiffin to Albert and Margurite (Kirchner) Sauber.  She married Robert D. Winkler on December 30, 1950 in St. Joseph Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2006.

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Rhonda) Winkler of Tiffin; four daughters, Judy (Mike) Tschanen of Sycamore; Jo (Dave) Travis of Tiffin; Pam Krites of Columbus; Janet (Mike) Molineaux of Tiffin; two brothers, Butch (Janet) Sauber of Tiffin; Joseph (Ann) Sauber of Cincinnati; a sister, Marilyn (Dennis) Heiser of Attica; 13 grandchildren, Kelly Winkler, Kory Winkler, Chris Fry, Nicole Sheets, Brian Travis, Matt Travis, Brandon Lora, Cory Krites, Erica Jones, Amber Reinhart, Danielle McCombs, Casey Cramer and Whitney Steine; 19 great grandchildren, Maverick, Kensington and Kruze Winkler, Brice and Bailey Sheets, Remi and Rylynn Cramer, Zaden Fry, Xavier, Kailee and Zhane Travis, Hailey Jo, Gabriel and Mia Krites, Nolan and Merrick Jones, Reagan and Pepper Reinhart, and Addison McCombs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Albert, Richard, and Michael Sauber and a sister, Barbara Drown.

Patricia was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a 1949 graduate of Tiffin Calvert.  She worked Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, retired from General Electric in 1985 and volunteered for several years cleaning the church.  She was a member of St. Mary Rosary Altar Society, Tiffin Eagles Auxiliary, and Allen Eiry Senior Center.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit and share stories on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 6-8 PM and Monday 8:30-9:30 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
