Thomas A. “Adam” Keefe, 76, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
He was born on February 11, 1942, in Hancock County, to Thomas Jacob “Tommy” and Julia (Kirian) Keefe. On February 14, 1998, he married Kathy Schetter.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Tiffin; sons, Thomas J. Keefe and Scott T. (Kimberly) Keefe, both of Tiffin; stepsons, Kenneth Ring of Bellevue, Geoffrey Banks, and Dan (Courtney) Banks, of Reynoldsburg; stepdaughters, Lori (Troy) Huth and Betsy (Marc) Skitowski, both of Tiffin and Leita Rohrbacher of Clyde; brother, Roger (Sherrie) Keefe of Arcadia; sister, Martha (Ken) Hohman of Fostoria; grandchildren, Melissa, Stephanie and Tyler; eight step grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren, Sayge, Kenzie and Duke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Laura Keefe; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Hermes and Marcella Slager.
Adam graduated in 1960 from Arcadia High School and attended Church and Bible Study at Set Free Ministries. He was a member and past president of the Tiffin Lions Club, member of the Allen Eiry Senior Center, was a Cleveland Indians fan, NASCAR and Rusty Wallace fan and enjoyed collecting trains, playing Euchre, bowling, visiting with his Tiffin Bake Shop friends, going on area trips, talking to everyone on his CB under the handle name, "Quickdraw" and spending time with his family. Adam will be remembered for always walking his seeing eye dog companion, Standford, downtown.
His funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Tracy Elder officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
