Yolanda Kathleen“Kathy” Burns, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, July 7, 2017 at her home.

She was born on August 25, 1941, in Tiffin, Ohio to Robert and Esther (Shiley) Remsberg.  On February 11, 1961, she married Alan P. Burns and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2011.

Survivors include her three daughters, Janene (Ron Stine) Burns of Tiffin, Donna (Mark) Schriner of Republic and Terri Renninger of Tiffin; son, Alan (Penny) Burns II of Tiffin; brother, Mike (Mariann) Remsberg of Tiffin; sisters, Della (Bob) Lofay and Mary Welty, both of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.  

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Carol Remsberg and Bobby Anne Smith.

Kathy was a homemaker and worked a few jobs.  She loved to fish, play video games with the kids, play cards and was a member of the Tiffin V.F.W Post #2858.

A graveside Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Seneca Memory Gardens.
