Alice Mae Jeannebelle Harding, 88, of Tiffin, passed away at 11:35 A.M. on Monday, January 6, 2020 at her home.
She was born on December 7, 1931 to Paul and Kathryn (Hall) Crum. On May 3, 1952, she married Ralph Eugene Harding.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Harding of Tiffin; daughters, Paula (Glenn) Burgderfer of Tiffin, Sandra (Jeff) Underwood of New Riegel and Lisa Felton of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Sara (Luke) Riesen, Alicia Weininger, Stacie (Eric) Routzahn, Andrea Hines, Adam (Megan) Weininger, Sam (Melissa) Arnold, Phylisa (fiancé’ Tim Gill) Arnold; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, James (Nell) Crum and Richard (Audrey) Crum; and sister, Betty (Glenn) Quickle.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She attended Heidelberg University and worked as a dietitian at Mercy Hospital for several years. Alice Mae then became a home wife and mother. She was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church where she was the financial secretary and taught Sunday school. She was involved in several church clubs and groups as well as a member of the church choir. Alice Mae was a 4-H leader for many years and a member of the Farm Women’s Club. She enjoyed gardening and was a helping hand on the farm. Alice Mae enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and most of all with the love of her life, husband, Ralph.
Her funeral service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Rev. Marilyn Coney officiating. Friends and family are welcome to attend a luncheon in remembrance of Alice Mae following at Faith United Methodist Church, Tiffin. Burial will be at a later date in Fairmont Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TLC Home Nursing.
