Ann E. Davis, 71, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away on Sunday morning, February 4, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield, Ohio.
She was born on January 6, 1947 to the late Charles and Ruth P. (Tacy) Kelley and was raised in Follansbee, West Virginia.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Becky Gorby of Springfield; granddaughter, Candace (Randy) Swain of Kettering; two sisters, Nancy (Don) Rogerson of Florrisant, Missouri and Priscilla Adams of California; several nephews; and her beloved dog and companion, Abby.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Kelley Gorby in 1991; and a sister, Margaret Kelley.
Ann retired as an administrator from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office following 20 years of service and previously worked for eight years as a clerk with Judge Bozarth in the Seneca County Court of Common Pleas. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and loyal friend who enjoyed spending time at her property at Catawba Point on Lake Erie and was a voracious reader.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Minister Curt Gallmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the funeral home.
