Antoinette (Pepe) SanGregory

Antoinette “Toni” SanGregory, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on September 16, 1932, in Wellsville, Ohio, to Berardino and Theresa (Straziuso) Pepe.  On July 24, 1954, in Immaculate Conception in Bellevue, she married Frank J. SanGregory.

Survivors include her husband, Frank of Tiffin; sons, Sal (Tammi) SanGregory of Perrysburg and Michael (Jenny) SanGregory of Tiffin; daughters, Theresa (Dean) Distel, Jr. and Annette (Jim) Baker, both of Tiffin; sister, Gina Lindsey of Helena, MT; ten grandchildren, Salina (Thomas) Wright, Josh (Kristin) Distel, Nickalas (Tiffany) SanGregory, Jason (Emily) Distel, Michelle (Steve) Risner, Jenelle Miller, Jonathan (April) Distel, Dylan SanGregory, Sidney Baker and Hailey Baker; and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Matthew Pepe and infant, Rocco Pepe; sister, Rose Thonen; grandson-in-law, Ben Miller.

Toni graduated in 1950 from Wellsville High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching her stories, day trips, family gatherings, loved her dog, Fifi, was an excellent baker and enjoyed her time in the kitchen.  Toni was active with her children while they were growing up and she was committed to her husband and family.

Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Matthew Mammen officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-4:00 P.M. on  Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, Tiffin Right to Life or to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
