Barbara Alcala Obituary

Barbara A. Alcala, 71, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday evening, August 30, 2018 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

On July 11, 1947 in Tiffin, she was born to Doyle and Mary (Buccione) Black and they preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Lucius of Tiffin; two grandsons, Brandon and Austin Lucius, great grandson, Leo Todd Lucius, and a brother, Ronald (Marie) Black of Tiffin.

Barbara was a 1965 graduate of Tiffin Columbian and worked at General Electric until they closed, Findlay Industries and retired from Clyde Whirlpool. She was always willing to help others and enjoyed gardening, watching her soaps and lunches with the girls from the class of 1965.

A Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Seneca Memory Gardens at 10:00 AM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
