Beverly A. “Bev” Kopp, 56, of Republic, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital. 

She was born on June 9, 1960, in Tiffin, Ohio, to John C. and Barbara A. (Selvey) Burns.  On January 10, 1987, she married Mark A. “Pooch” Kopp.

Survivors include her husband, Mark of Republic; son, Tony Kopp of Republic; daughters, Stacey Kopp and Jody Kopp, both of Republic; brothers, Ronald A. (Sandy) Burns of Tiffin, Richard A. (Barbara) Burns of Chesterton, IN, John E. Burns of Tiffin, Robert E. (Darla) Burns of Findlay, Kenny J. Burns and Brian D. Burns, both of Tiffin; sisters, Janet R. (Martin Coffman, Jr.) Agerter and Judith K. Burns both of Tiffin; and granddaughter, Destiney Wilcox.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bev graduated in 1980 from Tiffin Columbian High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  She enjoyed volunteering at school and sporting events while her children were in school, reading, gardening, riding with her husband on their motorcycle, and she was a great cook.  Bev was close with her family and loved spending time with her granddaughter.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Kishore Kottana officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
