David L. Estep

David Estep, 67, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday morning, May 21, 2018 at his home.

He was born on November 6, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to John and Marjorie (Smith) Estep.  He married Mary Price on August 3, 1975 and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2015.

Survivors include his brother, Michael (Joanna) Estep of Tiffin; sisters, Jane (Ronald) Jones and Joan Estep, both of Tiffin; brother-in-law, Ronald Bird of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Michael John Estep; and sister, Mary Ann Bird.

David graduated in 1971 from Tiffin Columbian High School, attended Terra Technical College and worked at American Standard for over 25 years.  He also drove Yellow Cabs for his father who owned the cab company and worked at G.E. and Tiffin Enterprise for a short time.  He enjoyed Corvettes and going to car shows.

His funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Chaplain Michael Estep officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tiffin Animal Shelter or to the Seneca County Commission on Aging.
