Donald R. “Don” Dunn, 84, of Sycamore, passed away on Thursday morning, December 28, 2017 in Westbrook Assisted Living, Upper Sandusky.

He was born on September 4, 1933, in Sycamore, Ohio to Milton G. and Leota M. (Grandstaff) Dunn.  On September 10, 1955, he married Jean Eigel.

Survivors include his wife Jean of Sycamore; sons, Todd (Shari) Dunn of Upper Sandusky and Mike (Tina) Dunn of Morral; daughter, Karla (Jay) Johnson of AL; brother, Milton G. Dunn, Jr. of Fostoria; sister, Nerita (Bill) Streacker of Tiffin; nine grandchildren, Andrya Dunn, Desiree Dunn, Brittney Turner, Brook Freeman, Dusty Johnson, Brandi Jenkins, Keaton Raymond, Brandt Raymond and Kaleb Raymond; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Brenda Raymond.

Don served in the United States Navy from August 31, 1951 to June 28, 1954 during the Korean War.  He worked at Ohio Bell and later retired in 1990 from Ameritech.  Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, yard work, gardening and vacationing in Las Vegas.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
