Ethel M. (Martin) Carnahan

Ethel M. Carnahan, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, August 23, 2019 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital. 

On December 29, 1946 in Tiffin, she was born to Woodrow and Wauekee (Gayheart) Martin and married Joseph Carnahan on December 6, 1975.

Ethel is survived by her husband Joseph of Tiffin; son, Jason (Kimberly) Carnahan and their son, Ronan of Dublin and her dog, Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ethel graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1965 and worked at Webster Manufacturing for over 36 years as a customer service representative, later retiring.  She taught Sunday school at the First Lutheran Church, volunteered at St. Paul’s Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen, enjoyed gardening, crafts, trips to Frankenmuth and occasionally Florida.  She was a member of the Altrusa Club and Business of Professional Women.  Holidays were special to Ethel, she loved decorating and spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandson Ronan.   

Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Clayton Bailey officiating at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
