Helen Reinhart Obituary

Helen E. Reinhart, 92, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 12, 2018 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on February 19, 1926, Liberty Twp., near 5 points, to John M. and Edith S. (Stork) Sorg. On June 7, 1946, in St. Andrews Church in Liberty Twp., she married Richard C. Reinhart and they were married for nearly 58 years.

Survivors include her sons, Robert C. (Barbara) Reinhart and Paul J. (Ruth) Reinhart, both of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Kathryn J. (Cory) Kinn, Tammy L. (Willie) Bryant, James C. Reinhart, Christina (Mark) Nominee, Teresa (Donald) Faber, Rita Houtz and John (Brandi) Reinhart; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; sisters, Mary Jo Sorg and Anna Margaret Scherger; one great-grandchild; and one step great-grandchild.

Helen was a homemaker and retired in 1985 as a supervisor at Riverview Inn. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Helen loved to crochet and sew, making many beautiful crochet works of art. She also loved working in her yard and playing cards was her passion; Euchre and Pinochle were her games.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 3:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to Friedman Village.
