Imelda J. “Mickey” Dininger, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born on April 11, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Alexander and Bertha (Niederkohr) Clouse. On October 11, 1951, she married Kenneth E. Dininger and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2016.
Survivors include four sons, Jeffrey A. (Nancy) Dininger of Litchfield, Steven D. (Crystal) Dininger of Lawrenceville, GA, David K. (Barbara) Dininger of Beresford, SD and Gregory M. Dininger of Grand Prairie, TX; four daughters, Sandra L. (Michael) McDonald of Stafford, VA, Debra A. (Michael) King of Tiffin, Brenda J. (Todd) Perla of Lake City, FL and Karen M. (Robert) Mack of Westerville; sister-in-law, Rosie Clouse of DeLand, FL; 18 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two infant children; brothers, Wilfred Clouse, Luke Clouse and Donald Clouse; and sisters, Florence Arbogast and Virginia Thom.
Mickey graduated in 1950 from Tiffin Calvert High School, worked in Real Estate at DOT Realty and Wilson Realty, and then at OSU Extension Office for 15 years, was a tax preparer for years, and was a secretary at St. Mary Catholic Church for over 17 years. Mickey was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where she coordinated The Garden’s at the Church and was a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and St. Francis Auxiliary. She volunteered her time at St. Vincent DePaul, was a 4-H advisor, taught swimming lessons to Cub Scouts and enjoyed gardening, and playing cards with her card club.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew R. Rader officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
