Jennifer Ufferman Obituary

Jennifer Lynn “Jenny Gaietto" Ufferman, 37, of Columbus, formerly of Tiffin, passed away suddenly Friday, October 26, 2018.

She was born on September 17, 1981, in Tiffin, to Christopher and Doreen (Calvert) Gaietto.  She married David Ufferman on August 9, 2015, on the beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  David survives in Columbus.

Also surviving are her son, LJ (Lawerence) Smith of Marysville; her mother, Doreen Gaietto of Tiffin; sisters, Rita (Chad) Gaietto-Overmier of Tiffin, Jessica Kizer and Jessica’s children, Kailyn and Garett, all of Perrysburg; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Gaietto; and grandparents, William and Rita Calvert and Michael and Maria Gaietto.

Jenny was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.  Jenny always had a smile, had a bubbly, fun-loving personality, she was quick witted and feisty.  She was adventurous and outgoing.  There was never a dull moment when Jenny was around.  She had a kind and generous heart and always quick to forgive.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and going to LJ’s football games with Dave, her husband and just spending time together as a family.  Jenny looked forward to celebrating the holidays and special occasions, like birthdays and anniversaries.  She enjoyed playing cards, board games, watching movies and she loved her pets, Slyvester, her cat, her many hamsters and her and LJ’s gecko, Leah.  They were all spoiled rotten by her.

Jenny was so very loved and we will all cherish the many wonderful and funny memories we have of her.  She will always live on in our hearts.

There will be a Celebration of Jenny’s life from 1-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Tiffin Eagles, 68 Riverside Drive, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, where we will share stories and have a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a favorite charity or do an act of kindness in memory of her.
