Juanita R. Nause, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday afternoon, August 20, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on July 4, 1933, in Republic, Ohio to John and Mary (Hughes) Thompson.  On July 11, 1950, she married Robert Weis and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1965.  In August of 1969, she married Bernard Nause and they later divorced, but remained friends.

Survivors include her son, Tom (Teresa) Weis of Tiffin; four daughters, Sharon Rose Antonick of Tucson, AZ, Deborah Jones of Tiffin, Lisa Welborn of Bloomville and Lori (Gregory) Farmer of Jacksonville, NC; sister, Marie (Charlie) Potts of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren, Holly Zeibold, Nicole Lam, Cary Aubrey, Shyleigh Jones, Brennan Jones, Tenneil Higgins, Lucas, Michael and Andrew Farmer; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Michael Weis; son-in-law, Tim Jones; and one grandchild, William Welborn.

Juanita lived in Republic most of her life and retired after 20 years as a cook from Tiffin State Hospital.  She was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Ladies Eagles Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society.  She enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, going on trips and was very active at Kiwanis Manor.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in Reed Assumption Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  A Christian Wake Service will begin at 4:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Bridge Hospice Care.
