LuAnn Arter, 62, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, August 3, 2017 at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1955, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Rexford, Sr. and Grace (Jackson) Huffman.  On October 6, 1973, she married Donald E. Arter, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Donald of Tiffin; mother, Grace Huffman of Tiffin; daughter, Lora (Rick) Stombaugh of Republic; son, Don (Tamra) Arter, III of Tiffin; three brothers, Rex (Vicki) Huffman and Ken Huffman, both of Tiffin, Scott (Terri) Huffman of Republic; five sisters, Patricia (Lenny) Steyer of McCutchenville, Bonnie (Greg) Ramirez, June (Dave) Wiese and Joyce (Ron) Randell, all of Tiffin; and Wendy (Roger) DePew of Genoa; and three grandchildren, Cody and Austin Stombaugh and Domonic Arter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rexford; and 2 infant sisters.

LuAnn was a member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making jewelry, baking, crossword puzzles, and volunteering at school where her children attended.  She loved animals, especially her dog, Elvis and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren

Her Funeral Service will be at Noon on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Philip Moerdyk officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service at the funeral home.
