Margaret “Marge” A. Ahle, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 13, 2019 at Toledo Hospital.
She was born on March 7, 1940 in Tiffin to Frank J. and Edith (Swartz) Mueller and married Larry L. Ahle on August 29, 1959 in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband Larry of 60 years; daughter, Cynthia K. (John) DeRan of Fremont; sons, James Alan (Denise) Ahle of Kalamazoo, MI; Jeffrey Lynn (Kristen) Ahle of Bellefontaine; two brothers, Robert J. (Leona) Mueller of West Minster, CA; C. Michael (Dee) Mueller of St. George, Utah; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Kristi, Emily, Tyler, Katie, Austin, Sara, Eric and Jack.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Rev. Eugene Mueller, John Mueller, Richard Mueller, and James Mueller; and sister, Joanne Brickner.
Marge was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and graduated from Calvert High School in 1958. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Y-Wives, Lady Knights, Allen Eiry Senior Center, and many Bridge Clubs. She worked at Mercy Hospital and area medical offices over the years. She was a cook at T.J. Willies starting in 1983 and later retiring in 2007. She wintered in Arizona a few years and enjoyed attending grandchildren’s sporting events, Allen Eiry bus trips, casino trips, car shows around the country, playing cards, collecting Tiffin Glass, watching NASCAR, especially number 24, Jeff Gordon.
Her mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 16, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matt Rader officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
