Marilyn J. Walliser, 86, of Tiffin and formerly of Kiwanis Manor, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born on March 10, 1931, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to William and Alma (Ball) Maudsley.  On February 9, 1957, she married Clarence Walliser.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Gail) Walliser of Darien, IL; daughter, Deb (Skip) Fretz of Tiffin; brother, James (Susan) Maudsley of Willard; sisters, Carol Maudsley of Willard and Ruth Ann Wise of Attica; three grandchildren, Rob Stine, Eric and Emily Walliser; great-grandchild, Elliott Stine and Macie Lee Stine, expected very soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Clarence.

Marilyn graduated from Attica High School and was a nurse’s aide at Autumnwood Care Center and at Mercy Hospital.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was devoted to her Catholic faith.  She was an Ohio State University, Tiffin Columbian and Tiffin Calvert football fan, enjoyed cooking, sewing and had the cleanest house in town.  Marilyn was friendly, outgoing, a loving wife, great mom and grandma.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
