Nicholas John Schank, 33, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.

He was born on August 14, 1983 and is the son of Harold and Dianne (Deppen) Schank. 

Survivors include his parents, Harold and Dianne of Tiffin; children, Aryana and Aiden; brother, Christopher (LaVonna) Schank of Tiffin; grandmother, Rita Schank of Tiffin; and nieces, Kinsley and Ashlyn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Schank and Kenneth and Mary Deppen.

Nicholas graduated in 2002 from Tiffin Calvert High School and was a truck driver for Big G in Tennessee.  In high school, he played football and ran track.  He ran on the 400-meter and 4X400 relay team.  The 4 X400 relay team placed on podium at the State Track meet at Ohio State in 2002.  He participated in school musicals and was active in show choir for two years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.   A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
