Patricia A. “Patty” Kern, 80, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday afternoon, December 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on March 18, 1937, in Tiffin, Ohio to Michael and Alphonsine (Honore) Miletti.  On October 15, 1960, she married Carl W. Kern.

Survivors include her husband, Carl of Tiffin; son, David (Kimberly) Kern of Tiffin; daughter, Michele (Eric) Magers of McCutchenville; sister, Joann (Wayne) Moore of Tiffin; three step grandchildren, Jessica Garza, Hailey and Cameron Magers; and three step great-grandchildren, Eliot, Roman and Ashton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry J. Miletti and Paul G. Miletti; sister, Eileen Ardner; and step grandson, Daniel Garza.

Patty graduated from Tiffin Calvert in 1955.  After graduation, she worked at Ohio Bell as an operator for ten years.  She enjoyed flower gardening, being a housewife, traveling to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Florida, Branson and Canada.  Patty loved spending time with her family.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
