Ray M. Fruth

Ray M. Fruth, 78, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday morning, June 3, 2018 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake.

He was born on May 18, 1940, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to Oliver F. and Ellen (Ady) Fruth, Sr.  On June 16, 1962, he married Peggy Irwin and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Bryan (Michael Strauss) Fruth, of Austin, TX; daughter, Jill Qualls of Lorain; and grandson, Joshua Qualls.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Oliver F. Fruth, Jr., Owen F. Fruth and Max E. Fruth; and sister, Opal Faye Sims.

Ray graduated in 1958 from Republic High School and from Tiffin University with a Bachelors Degree.  He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Marathon Oil as a computer scheduling analyst.  He was a member of the Amvets Post 48.

There will be no visitation and burial will be private.
