Robert Lynch Obituary

Robert E. Lynch, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, July 24, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

On June 3, 1936 in Seneca County he was born to Ralph and Alma (Auck) Lynch.  He married Nancy Stanley on February 9, 1958 and she survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Lisa Arebaugh and Bev (Anthony) Buckley both of Tiffin; siblings, James (Sharon) Lynch, Charles Lynch, Phyllis Boyd, two grandchildren, Danielle Harder and Kylie Arebaugh and three great grandchildren, Konner, Zane and Jaxon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Smith.

Robert was a 1954 graduate of Old Fort High School and joined the United States Air Force in 1954-1958.  Upon returning to Seneca County, he began farming, working for Crown Rubber in Fremont for over 19 years and later for Church and Dwight, retiring in 1999 after several years.  He was a life-long farmer who enjoyed watching Bald Eagles, collecting Cracker Jack boxes, a member of the Cracker Jack association, Pheasants Forever, past member and president of the Old Fort Athletic Boosters, Old Fort Lion member and was an active member and held offices with the Tiffin Moose for over 30 years. 

His funeral will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Marc Quinter officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Thursday, July 26, 2018 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
