Thelma I. Gordon, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 28, 2017 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born on October 15, 1932, in Scipio Twp., to Russell and Bernita (Allbaugh) Mellott.  On May 24, 1956, in Alexander City, AL, she married Donald Gordon.

Survivors include her husband, Donald of Tiffin; daughter, Felicia (Butch) Tatroe of Elwood, IL; sisters, Dorothy Smith and Violet Sholl both of Tiffin; and granddaughter, Stephanie Weiser of Elwood, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Harold Mellott and Pete Mellott.

Thelma graduated from Old Fort High School in 1951.  After marriage, she traveled with her husband, Donald throughout the world, while he was in the United States Air Force, living in England and the United States.  She worked at St. Francis Home for ten years in the physicians billing department and enjoyed painting oil landscapes, ceramics, decorating cakes and loved her dog, Muffy.

There will be a graveside service at a later date at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.  There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
