Vonda D. Hoover, 85, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 18, 2017 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

On August 31, 1931 in Green Springs, OH she was born to Ervin and Mabel (Biller) Hoffman.  She married Eugene H. Hoover on October 9, 1954 in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bascom and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Randall (Cheryl) Hoover of Tiffin; daughters, Elaine (Michael) Leaver of Tiffin; Diane (Charles) Rieke of Republic; brothers, Jim (Polly) Hoffman and Bob Hoffman both of Tiffin; Duane (Christina) Hoffman of Indiana; two grandsons, Andrew and Jason Hoover and a great grandson, Jaxson Hoover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Larry Hoffman and two sisters, Ruth Brown and Judy Romanowski.

Vonda was a member of Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom and graduated in 1949 from Tiffin Columbian High School. Vonda loved spending time with her grandsons, grand-dogs, and her Golden Retriever, Glory. She enjoyed traveling, camping around the area, taking senior bus trips, visiting neighbors and doing yard work. She was a homemaker and volunteered at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital for many years.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M.  Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom with the Rosary prayed 20 min. prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society and Bridge Hospice of Findlay.
