William C. (Sr.) Alspach

William “Bill” C.  Alspach, Sr., 60, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, January 12, 2018 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born on January 17, 1957, in Tiffin, to Richard L. and Doris G. (Heyman) Alspach.  On April 23, 1982, he married Micki Kline.

Survivors include his wife, Micki of Tiffin; sons, William (Julie) Alspach, Jr. of Cleveland and Brandon (Amy) Kline of Dayton; daughter, Bianca (Kevin) Guth of Old Fort; brother, John (Jessie) Alspach of Tiffin; sister, Diane (Jeff) Weaver of Clyde and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard L. Alspach, Jr.; and sister, Shirley (Jim) Grimes.

Bill was a member of Christ’s Church at Tiffin and a 1975 graduate of Tiffin Columbian.  He owned Bill’s Collision for over 30 years, currently on N. Sandusky Street and enjoyed boating at the lake, riding his motorcycle, traveling and supported The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He was a member of Eagles Aerie 402, Am Vets Post 48, Moose Lodge 846, and VFW Post 2858.  Bill left us too soon, but will be remembered for his smile, outgoing personality, a jokester, a mentor to many and someone always willing to help others.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family from 4-6 P.M. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.

There will be a private memorial service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
