Agatha “Gay” Hamilton, 87, of Republic, passed away, Friday, May 15, 2026, at Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on November 07, 1938, in Pleasant Run, Kentucky, to Mr. and Mrs. Webb. In August of 1958, she married Billy G. Hamilton. He preceded her in death in 2020.

Gay enjoyed plants, flowers, and was a stay-at-home mother and housewife. She was a Sunday school teacher for years at Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherrill (Pete) Heilman, of Mission, TX, Brenda Kreh, of Findlay; 4 grandchildren, Courtney (Vincent) French, Paul (Stephanie) Kreh, Michelle (Damian) Wise, Marcus (Misty) Heilman; 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Billy; sister, Marilyn.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Pam, Anita, and Helena, and her dog, Zero.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.

Her burial took place at Seneca Memory Garden.
