Alice L. Lucius, 85, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 06, 2023 at The Willows at Tiffin.

She was born on April 23, 1938, in Seneca County, Ohio, to William and Louise (Reinhart) Brose. On October 12, 1957, in St. Peter Catholic Church, Alvada, she married Eugene W. "Gene" Lucius and he preceded her in death on December 08, 2002.

She is survived by her sons, Dan (Kim) Lucius and Tom (Shirley) Lucius, both of Tiffin and Mark (Phyllis) Lucius of New Riegel; daughter, Donna (John) Poignon of Tiffin; brothers, Francis (Donna) Brose of Tiffin and Andrew Brose of Sycamore; sister, Rosann Mayer of Tiffin; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Drew, Jeremy, Adam, Theresa, Brandon, Jared, Marisa and Megan; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, infant William Brose, Virgil Brose, Herman "Pete" Brose, Paul Brose, Jacob Brose, and Bernard Brose; and sisters, Anna Waltermyer, Lucille Smith, Inez Kerlin and Jeannette Lucius.

Alice was a 1956 graduate of New Riegel High School and member of All Saints Parish, the Rosary Altar Society, Eucharistic Minister and volunteered where ever they needed her help. Alice kept a very clean house and welcomed everyone.  She enjoyed playing cards, camping with her family, sewing, casino trips, vacationing around the U.S. and Canada, monthly get-togethers with her classmates and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 11, 2023 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Randy Giesige officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
