Alice Hazel Spencer, 76, of Tiffin, died Sunday morning, October 19, 2008, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

April 16, 1932, she was born in Ankney Town, to Ivan Burr and Avis Pearl (Selanders) Gilmore. She married Robert Miley and they later divorced.

Survivors include a son, Christopher S. (Robin) Johnson of Marion, a sister, Edith (Gene) Fairchild of Mt. Vernon, and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents, are an infant son, Brian Earl, six brothers and three sisters.

Alice enjoyed country music, watching birds, loved to cook and watch cooking shows and her cat Poncho.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 - Noon, Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Howe officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
