Andrew W. Nordholt, 25, of Tiffin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 6, 2010.

On November 15, 1984 in Findlay he was born to William A. "Bill" and Carol S. (Spillane) Nordholt.

Survivors include his parents of Tiffin; brother, Thomas Nordholt of Columbus; grandmother, Margaret B. Spillane of Media, PA; aunts and uncles, Jim S. (Karen D.) Nordholt Jr. and Catherine N. (Darrell D.) Jones both of Tiffin; Barbara S. (Matthew) Wilson of Villanova, PA; John M. Spillane of Oakland Gardens, NY; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John W. Spillane, James "Sheb" and Barbara Nordholt.

Andrew was a member of the First Lutheran Church, a 2003 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and attended Tiffin University and Columbus State Community College. He worked side by side with his father in the family business; H.G. Handling. His family; both immediate and extended, were a priority and primary focus throughout life. His kind heart and helping nature took him on a missionary trip to Haiti in 2000.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 2-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.

A service of celebration will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Tiffin with Rev. Mark Brodbeck officiating. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the organization that inspired Andrew, Northwest Haiti Christian Mission, P.O. Box 829, Versailles, KY 40383.
