Obituary

Ann M. Wank, 57, of New Riegel, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, August 19, 2012 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On December 15, 1955 in Upper Sandusky, she was born to Robert and Mickey (O'Flaherty) Boes. She married Evan Wank on April 21, 1978.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Evan; a son, Jeffrey Wank of New Riegel; mother, Mickey Boes of Carey; brothers, Rick (Sharon) Boes and Jack (Kristi) Boes both of Carey; Paul (Deb) Boes of Sycamore; Dave (Robin) Boes of Carey; Nick (Chrissy) Boes of Vanlue; Dale (Vicky) Boes of Carey; Gary (Sheri) Boes of Sycamore; Chip (Janice Crawford) of Carey; sisters, Carol (Chuck) Fredritz and Linda (Mark Mathias) Yost both of Carey; Sam (Jim) Mathias of Alvada; sisters in law, Joanne (Marshall) Morgan of Huron; Irene Stocker of Columbus; Carol Wank of Sandusky; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Boes and a brother in law, Edwin Stocker.

Ann was a member of All Saints Parish New Riegel and a 1974 graduate of Carey High School. She had worked for New Riegel Schools for years as an IT Co-coordinator and for the past seven years as the Human Resource Administrator at Toledo Mold and Die. She volunteered her time with the American Red Cross organizing blood drives and at Attica Raceway Park mostly working the admission gates. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, baking, crafts and following her son racing. Ann loved life and all the friends she made over the years.

A Memorial Mass will be September 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Parish New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating and a Celebration of her life will follow from 11-3 at the AmVets.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in her memory to New Riegel EMS at P.O. Box 7, New Riegel, OH 44853, Bascom Fire Department at 5960 W. Tiffin St., Bascom, OH 44809 or to the American Red Cross.
