Anna K. Cholodewitsch, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 4, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on March 1, 1932, in Berwick, Ohio to Kenneth and Anna (Doelker) Morrison. On April 7, 1956, she married Witold Joseph "Joe" Cholodewitsch and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2003.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Cholodewitsch and Michael (Kelly) Cholodewitsch, both of Tiffin, Ohio; one daughter, Susan (Ed) Nugent of Tiffin, Ohio; one brother, Paul (Carolyn) Morrison of Potomac, MD; three grandchildren, Amanda Cholodewitsch, Katie Cholodewitsch and Jamie (Julie) Cholodewitsch; and 1 great granddaughter, Emily Cholodewitsch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; daughter, Carol Cholodewitsch in 1990; and brother, Carl Morrison.
Anna graduated in 1950 from Tiffin Columbian High School. She was a member of and very active at Family of Faith Lutheran Church. She volunteered at Autumnwood Care Center. She also volunteered at the School of Opportunity and was on their Board. Anna enjoyed gardening, canning and playing card games; she was in a card group at Clinton Mobile Park. She was also a great cook. Anna was proud of her German heritage and her family was very important to her.
Her funeral service will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Mark Brodbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 4-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Way for the Morrison House or Seneca County Dialysis.
