Anna M. Hoover, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2013 at
St. Francis Home.

She was born on September 19, 1924, in New Riegel, Ohio, to Harry and Catherine (Landoll) Windau. On July 26, 1947, she married Gilbert Hoover and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Kenneth Hoover and Gregory (Sandra) Hoover, both of Tiffin, and Douglas Hoover of Republic; daughter, Patricia (Richard) Treft of Tiffin; 4 grandchildren, Brian Treft, Seth Hoover, Anthony Hoover and Andrew Hoover; 4 great-grandchildren, Hannah Treft, Cecilia Hoover, Reiyce Hoover and Seth Hoover; and brother-in-law, Vincent Nye of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert; and sister, Dorothy Nye.

Anna graduated in 1942 from New Riegel High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, taking casino trips and wintering in Florida. Anna was very family oriented.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.

There will be no visitation.
