Anthony R. "Tony" Frankart, Sr., 77, of Tiffin and formerly of Bloomville, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 04, 2024 at his home.

He was born on September 23, 1946, in New Riegel, Ohio, to Edmund and Lenora H. (Wagner) Frankart.  On August 20, 1966, he married Karen L. Reiderman.

Survivors include his wife, Karen L. Frankart of Tiffin; son, Anthony (Traci) Frankart, Jr. of Attica; daughter, Tonya (Patrick) Walker of Republic; brother, Eugene Frankart; sisters, Sarah Wurm and Suzanne Roth, both of Attica; grandchildren, Katie Frankart, Kollin Frankart, Samantha Walker, Shaun Walker and Shayne Walker; and special friends, John and Sandy Pitts of Tiffin and Butch and Barb Biller of Bloomville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wilfred "Billy", Raymond "Mike", Ivan "Tubby", Edmund Jr "Butch", Donnie, and Nicholas.

Tony graduated in 1964 from Attica High School.  After high school, he served in the National Guard from 1964 to 1971.  He was a self-taught mechanic and worked at Frankart's Garage for over 40 years.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association.  Tony enjoyed hunting coon and deer, tractor pulls and living life to the fullest and helping everyone.

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes before Mass.  Burial will be private in St. Stephens Cemetery, Attica.
