Anthony J. "Tony" Latona, 58, of Tiffin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home.

He was born on July 26, 1962, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Albert and Diane S. (Kistler) Latona.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Stacie Kipps Lucius) Latona and Justin Latona, both of Tiffin; girlfriend, Lucy Castilleja of Tiffin and her sons, Jeremy (Linsi) Jackson of Curtice and Christopher (Stacey) Jackson of Perrysburg and their seven children that he thought of as his own; sisters, Fran (Jeff) Tammarine of Liberty Center, Mary Latona and Carla Kilgore, both of Tiffin; brother, Rusty (Lesa) Latona of Tiffin; and a granddaughter on the way, Ashlynn Leeann Latona; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Latona in 2018 and his father, Albert in 2020.

Tony graduated in 1980 from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked at Whirlpool for 39 years.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #608 and loved golfing, cooking, watching the Browns, Buckeyes and the Tigers, playing softball and going to concerts with his friends.

His Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 3-8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance without lingering.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society or to St. Mary Catholic Church.
