Anthony C. "Tony" SanGregory, 85, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Mercy-Health St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on July 13, 1938, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Salvatore and Dominica (Famulare) SanGregory.  On April  27, 1957, he married Jacqueline A. Rex.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline A. SanGregory of Tiffin; sons, Steve (Mary Beth) SanGregory of Toledo, Joe SanGregory of Tiffin and Matt (Teresa) SanGregory of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Michelle  "Shel" (Joe) Kramer of Tiffin; brother, John (Marge) SanGregory of Bellevue; sisters, Christina SanGregory and Lucy Borer, both of Tiffin; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin son, Mark SanGregory; brother, Frank SanGregory; and one great grandchild.

Tony was a 1956 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School.  He served as the Tiffin City Engineer from 1978 until he retired in 1994.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin Elks #94, AmVets Post 48, was State Chairperson of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Las Vegas and singing karaoke at casino's. He was a service-minded, hard-working man who would do anything for a friend in need.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  A luncheon will follow from 1-3:00 P.M. at the AmVets.
