Arthur James "Jim" Kime, 92, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his home.

He was born on November 01, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio to Noah and Ora (Day) Kime.  On December 06, 1958, he married Erma F. "Fran" Fields.

Survivors include his wife, Erma F. "Fran" Kime of Tiffin; daughter, Amy (Jeff ) Skeel of Republic;  three grandchildren, Morgan Kuhn of Columbus, Samantha Skeel of Republic and Cooper Skeel of Republic; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Kime; sisters, Sharon R. Kime and Constance "Connie" Burns; and brother-in-law, Jim Burns.

Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 where he was a Jet Mechanic.  He worked at Chrysler in Fostoria and then retired from General Dynamics where he assembled and inspected tanks.  Jim was a member of United Baptist Church, served on many committees and after retiring, he became church janitor and retired in 2012.  Jim enjoyed vacationing to see his family.

His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at United Baptist Church, 419 Coe Street, Tiffin, Ohio with Rev. Shane McClenathan officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Saturday at the church.
