Arthur R. "Art" "Skip" Renninger, 78, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025 in the Emergency Room at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont.

He was born on July 12, 1946, in Tiffin, Ohio, to William and Angela (Schleter) Renninger.  On July 31, 1971, he married Kathleen "Kathy" Burns.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Renninger of Tiffin; sons, Mark W. Renninger and Jeremy (Heather) Renninger, both of Tiffin; brothers, William (Clara) Renninger of Lyman, SC, Thomas (Peg) Renninger of Tiffin and Ralph (Kimberly) Renninger of Powell; sisters, Shirley Schipper of St. Charles, MI and Joanne (Alton) Elchert of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Amber (Malcolm), Charles, Kristyl and Faith; and grand dog, Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Timothy Renninger; and sister, Delores Weinandy.

Art was a 1964 graduate of Calvert High School and member of St. Mary Catholic Church.  In 2001, after 31 years, he retired from Chrysler in Perrysburg and for the last nine years, Art was a courtesy driver at Coppus Motors.  He was a life member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge 846 and a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2858 and the Sandusky River Coon Hunters.  Art enjoyed traveling to Jamaica, spending 13 winters in South Carolina, boating at Lake Erie, perch fishing, hunting, golfing, playing Euchre and Bingo and spending time in his garage.

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 02, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
