Barbara J. Buckner, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, February 21, 2016 at Bridge Hospice in Findlay.

She was born October 5, 1927 in Watertown, SD to Alfred G. and Clara Gertrude (Burns) Anifinson. On July 15, 1950, she married Furman Buckner in Chicago, IL.

Barbara is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jan and David Fadeley of Tiffin; a son, John Buckner of NC; a brother, Bob Anfinson of MN; sister, Sue Shehan of SD; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Furman who died in 1980 and a brother, Jack Anfinson.

Barbara grew up in Watertown, South Dakota and moved to Tiffin in the 1950's with her husband, Furman. After his death, she moved back to South Dakota for several years, later returning to Tiffin and most recently residing at St. Catherine's Care Center in Fostoria. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Hawaii and Japan and was a Girl Scout Leader.

A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Fairmont Cemetery with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating.
