Barbara D. Chafins, 40, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, January 26, 2015 at her home.

She was born on January 11, 1975, in Marysville, Ohio, to Odell and Irene (Mowery) Chafins.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Tabi and Riley Chafins, both of Tiffin; brother, Michael Chafins of Mt. Vernon; uncle and aunt, Donald and Norma Collins of Tiffin; many cousins, Vera Little, Velvet Mowery, Jason Collins, Bud Mowery, Tom Mowery and Rick Mowery, all of Tiffin and Diana Worley of New Riegel; and special kiddo, Kaleb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Frank Chafins.

Barbara graduated from Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio and worked as a STNA for Community Hospice Care for a few years. She loved spending time with her family and watching her children play softball and run track. Barbara called everyone her kids, would always help others and was always there for anyone who needed anything.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the American Legion Post #344, 201 E. Findlay St., Carey, Ohio 43316 with good friend and Pastor Bud Toombs officiating. After the Celebration, there will be a luncheon at the American Legion. Burial will be private at a later date in Delaware, Ohio.
