Barbara A. Magers, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday evening, December 7, 2025, at her home.

She was born on August 4, 1942, to Riley and Dorothy (Detterman) Cook, and raised by her paternal grandparents, George and Goldie Cook. On July 25, 1969, she married David Magers, he survives.

Also surviving are her sons, Gary (Deanna "Dee Dee") Zahn, of Fostoria, Michael Magers, of Marion; daughters, Jodi (Jerry) Salyer, of Tiffin, Cara Gaines, of Bellefontaine, Laura Turbeville, of Homosassa, Florida; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Barb was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, decorating, shopping, and home renovations.  She also loved her many pets she had through the years.  She was stubborn and determined but also very giving and wore her heart on her sleeve.

Her funeral service and burial will be private.
